FACE OF INDIAN PARLIAMENT.

BY K P PASWAN.

Parliament in any democratic country plays an important role in shaping the laws, which are beneficial to majority of people. In a free democracy every citizen, irrespective of caste,  creed and religion  enjoy universal voting rights, and member of parliament are elected by common people, accountable to common people. Parliament has its origin in Britain, from which it spreader to other parts of the world. When President James Monroe of America defined Democracy, as by the people, for the people and of the people, he had in his mind the British system of parliamentary democracy. At that time parliament in Great Britain was in different form, but the members had greater say in running the administration. Perhaps it was United States of America, which introduced an effective system of electing representatives to the Congress. American constitution is not a lengthy book. Constitution is enshrined in a few pages. United Kingdom does not have a written constitution and British parliament follows rules and regulations as per certain conventions.

India was a colony of Britain for a long time. Before the entry of East India Company, India was divided into thousand of small principalities, having their own rules and laws which were to be followed by common people, there were certain big royal states like Mughal, Nizam, Marathas, Sikhs etc, but there was not a united India. Rulers of these small states were lazy louts, living in luxury in a fast lane and thrived on war with neighboring states. For a while, the Mughal had in their possession large swath of the land, but the Mughal empire was in constant turmoil owing to palace intrigues and sectarian conflicts.

East India Co, brought and introduced in India, certain democratic principles which ultimately resulted in common laws, enforceable and executed by traders. When East India company started conquering weak principalities, these laws were further modified to include laws relating to criminal offenses. When entire India fell in the hands of Britain, then United India also emerged and certain common laws were introduced throughout the country,

Not going into details of historical facts, we must acknowledge that Independent India Act of 1935 is the central point of our parliamentary democracy. There are demands by certain section of educated but misguided people, that rules made during the colonial era must be repealed, but they desist themselves from suggesting alternatives. Under Sedition Laws Mahatma Gandhi was arrested ,but after departure of the British, retention of these laws is needed, until new laws are introduced, based upon changed conditions. This is not going to an easy task as the conditions of Sedition still loom large.

Indian parliament consists of two houses, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Members of Lok Sabha are directly elected by people for five years or when Lok Sabha is dissolved, if no political party forms the government on its own or with support from other parties (Coalition Govt), while members of Rajya Sabha are elected not directly but by some other methods in which horse trading is an important method to woo the members of opposition group.

It was 26th Jan1950 that India as a republic came into existence. Pt Jawaharlal Nehru, the first PM of independent India was a towering personality of his age, and one of the most influential leaders in the world. Functions of two houses of parliaments were never questioned and some of the serious debates were seen in the lower house with dignity and decorum. There is no record of shouting and counter shouting and adjourning or stalling the house on flimsy ground. There is no record to say that the PM was not allowed to speak by the opposition. Situation began to deteriorate after 1967, when the ruling Congress Party began to loss popularity, Election of member to the lower house is not based on merit and honest image of a politician who aspires to contest the election. He may not survive a person who is also contesting, glorifying his caste and creed. As per reports prepared by Election Commission, every political party is sending politicians of criminal background to parliament, and serious discussion in parliament is rarely seen. Even some of highly qualified members of parliaments with impressive degree from foreign universities are seen making noises on less serious matter.

CHARACTER ASSASSINATION. With tragic assassination of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, there is no charismatic leaders to make lasting impression, perhaps most of members of parliament are swayed by caste considerations and with a little help from criminals, they are in a position to tarnish the image of parliament. It appears that the opposition or the ruling party have developed, the strange habit of indulging in character assassination of each other. Bo fores and Raffle defense deals are glaring example. Rajiv Gandhi was really a Mr Clean, but the opposition, falsely accused him of accepting kickbacks even after knowing that Bofors gun was the most effective weapons against the enemies and no kickbacks were involved. Commissions, without which no international trade is possible were paid and such payment  cannot be called  kickbacks and bribes.

Bofors deal is still being debated by the opponents to malign the late Rajiv Gandhi. It is most pertinent to note that modern system of international trade allows commissions or discounts, without which trading activities cannot be carried away, now pendulum has swung into opposition direction. Raffle Fighters aircraft manufactured in France is regarded far better war aircraft than Mirage and even Russian Migs. Paying commissions is legally allowed, but here the opponents of prime minister is accusing him of adopting corrupt practices. Ruling party at the centre is notorious for anti-Dalit stand, but the main opposition is also encouraging communal ism and caste ism. Narendra Modi may not be an excellent PM, but he is one of the most admired and honest PM in the world. He is conducting administration in a rational manner. So, the main opposition party is making the same mistake which was, once made by the opponents of Rajiv Gandhi, who was ruined by his coterie of corrupt friends otherwise, integrity and honesty Rajiv Gandhi cannot be questioned on flimsy ground.

PEGASUS. During the Munich Olympic, the German Intelligence exposed its incompetence  and allowed the Jewish sportsmen to be slaughtered in a most horrendous killing. But German counterpart MOSSAD in Israel, the spy network of a tiny Jewish state, virtually surprised the world when Golda Mair the PM of Israel with the help of her spy network, killed every terrorist, involved in Munich killing of Jewish sports persons. Now with advancement of IT technology, there is mushroom growth of spy networks, but they have not done anything like the incidents, which happened during Munich Olympic. Every advanced country is involved in Cyber-crime which was discussed in detail during G 7 gathering in Britain. Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin dwelt upon the security issues being targeted by the hackers, China has emerged as a leading nation involved in all types of cyber crimes. Satyanarayana Nadella, the Chairman of Microsoft accused China of hacking MS technology including Window11 and China denied the allegations, but the fact of the matter is that Window11 is available in China, even before officially introduced in open market’.

Phone tapping is not a new thing in India, but phone tapping has never led to scandal like Watergate in India. PEGASUS, a spy network of obscure origin ( probably Israel based) tapped the phones of a few ordinary journalists and politicians of no importance. Their names have been published with such zeal as if they are new angels, who will save India from pandemic and usher in a new era of economic prosperity. But the fact of the matter is that these conclusions are figment of imagination and an excuse to create ruckus in parliament over trivial matters. Here it will not be out of context to mention that Watergate type of scandal is happening in India regularly and no politician has met the fate of Richard Nixon.

FEKU AND PAPPU. Who is FEKU and who is PAPPU, does it matter?  But real fact is that both are ordinary mortals. In a parliamentary system, Pappu may replace Feku and vice versa but the country cannot be ruined by Pappu and Feku. In the name of personal liberty. those who use these derogatory words should be forced to stand before a court of law to explain the meaning of these two words.  Unfortunately, there is an overactive judiciary to defend certain groups of people in the name of protecting fundamental rights. Inventors of these two words are either schizophrenic or neurotic who cannot sleep as democratic character of India will not allow them to sleep. It is also seen that a particular Chief Minister, who is in the habit of abusing the PM, has only one political agenda at hand and that is free electricity up to 200 unit, provided if consumers vote for his party. Another young political leader, much liked by certain section of politicians is an inventor of lies. Even the Apex court has warned this politician for spreading and manufacturing lies and this politician is aspiring to become the next PM of India.

STRANGE WORLD OF CYBER SPYING. CEO of Facebook, Twitter and Google have faced the searching questions by the Senators and Congressmen in US, but the shouting Brigade as seen in Indian parliament exceeded and crossed the boundary of decency when they openly washed dirty linen of each other in public. Instead of asking the reasons for inclusion of impressive number of SC MPs as ministers by the current PM, they wanted to discuss, the issues relating to farmers as it is known that Indian Farmers attracted the attention of Mia Khalifa who is a notorious strip teaser and Greta Thunberg, whose wealthy parents are bent upon creating grounds for a Nobel prize for the teenager. Nobody on this planet except Mia Khalifa and Justin Trudeau, the macabre PM of Canada, support the demands of Indian farmers. The oppositions are supporting the farmers as this is a novel way to oppose the present PM. Greta Thunberg has dissociated herself from farmers, when she realized that her purpose will not be served. The general election is not very far away. Modi’s popularity and the Farmer’s genuine problems shall be tested in UP assembly election. The present body of farmers are mostly from Punjab and UP, farmers of other parts of the country give damn importance to these farmers, who have become super spreader of lethal virus.

Credit goes to BJP for engineering the Shouting Brigade in parliament, when this party was in opposition. Non-BJP politicians are simply following the same principles, but there is a difference, BJP used to shout at the entire government, but the opposition is shouting, targeting a single person named Narendra Modi.

SECULARISM is the one word liked by all but practiced by none including the leftists. In West Bengal, at the time of Assembly Election, there was large number of defectors, who defected from the so-called anti-Hindu party in power to pro Hindu political party in opposition. After election pro Hindu political party made impressive gain in the assembly, but a few of defectors, originally faithful workers of anti-Hindu political party left the pro Hindu party and returned to anti-Hindu political party. Such type of defections is taking place all over India. There is no real meaning of secularism, when caste predominate political ideology and try to deprive the Dalits of their rights given by the founding fathers of constitution. This is the real face of secularism in India. A highly qualified woman member of Lower House from West Bengal hit the truth by telling” You are Hindus because Muslims are here, if they go, than India will become a land of Brahmins Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, Shudras, Dalits.

LIMITS OF PARLIAMENT DEMOCRACY.

The Apex Court in the famous Goloknath and above all in the case of Keshwanand Bharti, ruled that parliament cannot change basic character of constitution, but the highest court of the country did not elaborate the concept of basic characters. However, by close examination of some of the demands raised by elected members belonging to opposition, whether they are anti-Hindus anti-Dalits or pro Hindus, openly assault basic character of the constitution. There is only one binding force among them and that is anti-Dalits.

FINAL THOUGHT. Parliamentary form of government is the most sacred and pious democratic institution bestowed upon us by great founding fathers of the constitution. For thousand of years India by different names, in different times suffered from foreign invasion. These were the darkest period as there was no democratic freedom and running of administration depended upon the whims of the corrupt rulers. The British united India and for the first time and everybody enjoys universal franchise, unheard in majority of the sovereign nations of the world. Sanctity of parliament must be preserved at all cost and the shouting brigade, irrespective of political affiliations must be discouraged from disrupting and stalling the proceeding in parliament

AND FINAL WORDS.

Once this blogger was in most glamorous service with no power. Left the service due to tragedy.  During pandemic, thee was a lively debate in Texas (US). I was also there. They were debating over CAA. As per general opinion, CAA was beneficial in certain parts of India, but in other parts, its implementation needed further clarifications. There was unanimous opinion, that in absence of CAA, type of laws, India was going to become another EU (European Community) within 50 years

ECHO OF THIRD WORLD WAR.(updated)

BY K P PASWAN.

Meeting between Joe Biden, and Vladimir Putin in Genoa, set the stage for their most passionate argument relating to cyber-attack. Within fifteen days of summit, the world witnessed political drama which may be called as show of strength.

CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER.

“Sinking of British Royal Destroyer will not lead to third world war, so call back your destroyer." Putin warned to Britain, after Britain send the Royal destroyer in the Black Sea, most probably instructed by Pentagon, to express solidarity with Ukraine, which is desperate to join NATO, but opposed by Russia, as it fears surrounding Russia with hostile countries with nuclear arsenals. Interestingly, no EU member supports the entry of Ukraine either in EU or NATO for fear of economic considerations. This incident happened after few days of meeting between Biden and Putin in Genoa.

Second world war was fought, when colonialism was breathing heavily. Hitler was bent upon destroying the Jews by all means in fact it was Germany which  suffered beyond repair. Churchill, the war time PM of UK was suffering from bi polar disorder, but his strategy, paved the way for victory of the allies’ power. US emerged as a monster, threatening the entire world with dire consequences, if they go against the economic and political philosophy of US.This declaration was made by US Secretary of State, Faster Dulles.

Economically entire world in general and the European nations in particular suffered badly by Second World war. US resorted to economic charity by introducing Marshall plan and New Deal to help its allies. S Truman, president of US cultivated friendship with, Stalin the strongman,  of USSR, which emerged as a potential challenger to capitalism. Stalin resorted to a different type of expansion of communist ideology, through out the world and in the process, USSR was turned into a Black Hole from which no information escaped. In international politics, it was called as Iron Curtain.

Human race has a strange instinct of survival. It is said that in the British empire, there was no sunset.  After the end of second world war, Commonwealth of nations, headed by British monarch remained a strong binding forces between nations, which were once colonies of Great Britain. NATO founded to protect western countries from USSR and NATO acted as a strong shield against any attack sponsored by Stalin.

Another poor and underdeveloped country, China under Mao introduced cultural revolution and started expanding its influence in a different way. It successfully projected the real face of poverty, widely prevailed in African and Asian countries and held the colonial powers responsible for exploiting the underdeveloped countries. Mao was right in his philosophy. China needed help from capitalists’ countries, mainly from US to boost its economic and manufacturing process, for which latest technology was essential, USSR had excellent technology to explore the space and produced deadly weapons of destruction, which led to cold war, as the West was frightened, but these technology was not beneficial to China.

Now there are sufficient  reasons to believe that Communist USSR never offered, these technologies to China.

US president Richard Nixon along with his brilliant diplomat and the author of Détente era diplomacy, Henry Kissinger visited China in Feb 1971 and the world changed. Nixon’s visit to China heralded a new era of strategic and economic cooperation between capitalists and communists. USSR was an unstable conglomerate of small countries with different religious and cultural backgrounds, which were forcibly occupied by Lenin. Sooner or later USSR was bound to collapse like house of cards. USA was eagerly waiting for the golden moment which was not far away.

After Stalin’s death USSR made rapid progress in space and nuclear technology  and equipped its war planes with nuclear arsenals, so much so that fear gripped the western countries that USSR was set to rule the world. But Marxism is a strange political philosophy and some of its edicts violate the principles, set up not by any political thinkers of the past, but by nature itself, like freedom of speech and survival instinct. China, though remained Communist country, but compromised ambitious projects of turning entire world as fiefdom of Marx.

China began to progress slowly and with the import of latest technology from Western countries, its economy distanced itself from the basic philosophy of Marxist ideology.

USSR collapsed and  Russia emerged as an economically weak country, unable to attain self sufficiency in food grains and modern medicines. It is no longer a super power, standing at per with US. It is struggling to improve its economy by proper use of its vast natural resources. It is still superior to China in space exploration and will never exploit natural resources of underdeveloped countries, while China, despite of its outstanding economic growth will have to depend upon imports of raw materials from other countries.

Some of the journalists and leftists’ intellectuals in India view China as very rich in natural resources, but that is far from reality.

China is also witnessing revival of Tibetan form of Buddhism and this has led serious sectarian conflict with the Uighur Muslims. Tibetan form of Buddhism, which is based on a particular form of Upanishads of Hindu philosophy, is being  revived in Japan and Taiwan Revival of this peaceful religion may antagonise followers of other religions and West is likely to spread false propaganda against China, and may denounce China as an intolerant country. These western thinkers are already accusing India of being bias in religious matter. It must be recognized that vulgar type of secularism is found only in India, but this cannot cause a world war.

SCOPE OF THIRD WORLD WAR. Local issues predominated in the first and second world war. Every country involved in these two world wars was a colonial power, competing with each other in plundering rich Africa. Hitlers desire to eliminate the Jews, was the core issue for which some of the participating nations were secretly helping Hitler and they are still followers of Hitlers antisemitic ideology. A large number of Americans, French, German and British are still antisemitic as per one report, prepared by American think tanks.

ROLE OF RUSSIA. US is bent upon humiliating Russia, but it is not going to serve the interest of US. If Russia is not given an equal status, then it means catastrophe. The millions of people belonging to erstwhile USSR are still living in abject poverty. Putin has played his hand well, splitting his rival US and his, ally China. Russia has no territorial ambition and has no philosophy of terror to export. Communism is fading away, paving the way for a democratic Russia. Putin has learned much lesion from the astronomical rise of China, which is still not a free democratic country. Restricted freedom of speech and suppressing corruption among the newly rich business house like Alibaba has contributed to an improved quality of life of common people in modern China. Vladimir Putin will try to isolate US in key areas, like Eastern Europe and the Middle East. But Russia will never participate in a war, where it has to face US.

PAKISTAN. This country is no longer needed either by US or Russia as Pakistan is not going to serve their purpose.Despite of Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan, Pakistan is  not going to achieve international goodwill. With arrival of a torrent of Chinese aid, Pakistan’s battered economy is beginning to recover Surprisingly Pakistan is also facing crippling blockade by Islamic nations including Saudi Arabia. Strict enforcement of Sharia based laws have no effect,t but the minority Shias, Ahmadis Muslims and left-over Hindus are the worst victim of a theocratic Pakistan. It has huge nuclear arsenal, but it cannot nuke its traditional rival India, as it will be crippled within hours. No Muslims countries will send army to fight India on behalf of a country, glorifying religious terrorism. Military backed Imran Khan will continue to export terrorists to India. Pakistan’s isolation means it has devised darker ways to bring in foreign capital, in absence of which smuggling of narcotics, particularly crystal meth, counterfeit pharmaceuticals and currencies are likely to increase.

TALIBAN, represents groups of fanatics who do not believe in democracy. Surprisingly Taliban has dissociated itself from Uighur Muslims of China, which reflect shift in its ideology. Emergence of moderate Talibans do not augur well for a theocratic Pakistan,  which, has succeeded in establishing a pro Pakistani Govt in Kabul Any way Afghanistan, with or without Talibans is not going to cause world war. Taliban has established control over Afghanistan, With its medieval  religious philosophy, Afghanistan is fast becoming hub of extremists like ISIS. Al Qaida and some unknown religious terrorists. Pakistan, in the long run is likely to suffer heavily as mass exodus of Afghans refugees in Pakistan is likely to have bad impact upon its economy.

EU. For member countries of EU, there is nothing left for plunder in rich Africa. With spread of education and internet, most of the African countries with vast natural resources are slowly moving towards democracy, which means trouble for former colonial powers. UK remained till second world war as the most infamous plunderer of economics of third world. Churchill  was a racist, hater of India and under him UK was able to sustain a prolonged war as British industries were flourishing at the cost of Africa. With loss of colonies, Britain is no longer in a position to stabilize its dwindling economy and Nepolian was right in dubbing Britain as a nation of shop keepers.   British handling of its economy has to be watched carefully.  In any widespread war Britain will side with US, as its economic interests is likely to serve better

UK has been the most opportunistic country in the world. This country will go to any extent to keep the past glory intact. Capt Nelson was not a great British commander. He was a ruthless pirate of the Caribbean and helped Great Britain in times of financial crisis. It was Nelson who defeated France. If UK smells financial gain in any type of war including a world war, it will gladly participate, as is evident, sending its Destroyer in the Black sea just to please US. It has not learned any lesson from Falkland crisis.

Middle East cannot and shall never be a cause of third world war. Entire middle east is dependent upon oil which helped several Islamic countries to modernize its economy as well as exported  religion-based terrorism, but oil cannot generate more employment as is evident from influx of refugees from central Asia to west. Plenty of oil and natural gas have enabled Muslims countries to create infrastructure for better housing and health facilities, but many countries which used to import oil from the middle east have become self sufficient and the demand of less oil has led to sharp decline in oil prices. Oil money is also being used  to spread terror and purchase of sophisticated weapons from the west and US to indulge in local war just to exhibit its military strength. War in Yemen, Syria and Iraq bear testimony to this strange combination of politics, religion and economic prosperit

IRAN.Iran is poised to acquire nuclear arsenal, just to frighten its rival Saudi Arabia and certainly, preparing the ground for third world war. Economically, Iran is suffering from American sanctions. Ayatollah Ali Khamenie is afraid of Israel since the days when MOSSAD caused mayhem at Natanz and assassinated Iran's tip nuclear scientist. Iran is causing troubles for its rivals and cannot be a cause of third world war.

The balance of economic power in the world changes, must not be balance of political power changes too. In Asia, China’s rise has helped push India and Japan closer to  the United States. Economic power is not the same as political power. Most developing countries are still militarily pipsqueaks. Before the outbreak of Coronavirus, rise of China was supposed to be balanced by the rise of India, but that race is almost over, China has no potential rival except US and to some extent Russia. A world in which most people enjoy prosperity and opportunity is certainly better than one in which 80% are mired in economic stagnation and corruption. No alliance of  interests bring all these very different countries together in the way that history and culture  have united Europe and America

South China Sea is a grave military concern for small countries bordering China. China is not traditionally developed country. China has threatened to nuke Japan on the issue of Taiwan, but China can only make noises. It may not be difficult for US to sanction China, which is more deadly than nuclear weapons and US is employing political and economic sanction to punish its opponents and serve its political and economic superiority without participating in any kind of war. US is bound to defend Japan in case of attack by any country. If for some reasons US fails to act in time, then Japan has the capacity to inflict excruciating pain to China and in any case, with or without American, Japan will not allow Chinese missiles loaded with nuclear arsenal to cross the peninsula.

We have to take up the situation in Europe once again to explore the possibility of creating circumstances of world war. UK is facing disintegration. If once again referendum is held in Scotland, then formation of a sovereign Scotland cannot be ruled out, in that case UK may turn out to be a small state with week economy. Post Brexit UK violated fishing laws which was challenged by France. Only Germany is in a position to sustain its economic growth against all odds.  Most of the profit-making German’s MNCs are stationed in China and in underdeveloped countries of Africa and Latin America.

EVALUATION. US would cease to be a super power by 2040, and the politics of world would be taken over by criminals, involved in drug trafficking and  religious terrorism, Neither Russia nor China would be able to control these war mongers. This prediction was made by a group of American political scientists which included former retired generals and political scientists.  The manner in which drugs lords and religious lunatics are being pampered in democratic countries, reflect shape of things to come. Otherwise there is not even scant hope of third world war. Russian warning to British Admiral to withdraw the British Royal Destroyer may be treated as wake-up call for peace loving people all over the world.

FINAL THOUGHT. Only two political figures of contemporary world, Imran Khan, the PM of Pakistan and Kim Jong UN of North Korea talk of nuclear war. But these two political figures cannot dictate the world. Pakistan and N Korea are unable to provide basic facilities to common people.Vietnam war, Operation Desert Storm, war in Afghanistan and war against ISIS were deadlier than first and second world war. Human race has survived Coronavirus, but Homo Sapiens will not survive climate change and third world will never engulf this planet. It may be treated as figment of imagination.

G-7 AND NATO,--NO MORE RELEVANT.

BY K P PASWAN

With a new man in the Oval Office, international politics has entered into an era of neurotic polarization and a period of uncertainty. It is virtually impossible, even for a seasoned diplomat, to predict events to come. Recent example is meeting of seven rich countries in a city of UK, where Coronavirus of Delta plus variant is rampant. These groups also consisted of two nations, which are not only economically sick but don’t carry much weight in international politics, these countries are UK and Italy, UK has become curable sick man of Europe, while Italy does not know how to prevent impeding economic doom, after it suffered heavy causalities during the first wave of coronavirus.

Then there were representatives from EU, whose one-point agenda was to admire Germany and condemn China and Russia. Only France may be regarded as a politically sensitive country, knowing how to behave in a bi polar politics. It is also not known, on what basis Canada was invited? Rumors were set afloat in Washington that Justin Trudeau was in UK to lend support to Joe Biden, in case of urgent need. It may be noted that Donald Trump called Trudeau  an unworthy politician, but Joe Biden needs support of Canada to implement its undefined policy to China and Russia.  Group of Seven leaders  scolded, Beijing over a range of issues including exporting Coronavirus. This criticism may betreated  as gross interference in the country's internal affairs.

Any way these countries were pleased to see old Boris Johnson making noises as he recovered from Covid19. Group denounced China, a new enemy to democracy and Russia as threat to modern world. Neither China nor Russia is posing threat to any country. Modern China was made by Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger and post Coronavirus, China has become a leading economic power, threatening the age-old monopoly of small, but developed European nations to dictate the politics of the world.

The G 7 condemned and slandered China for human rights violations against Uighur Muslims. Who are these Uighur Muslims? They are as dangerous as ISIS and Taliban and taking advantage of limited freedom of speech in China, they are dreaming of carving a separate sovereign state in China, but to utter dismay to Group7, no Islamic state lend sincere support to the cause of Uighur. These Uighur may also be equated with stone pelters of Kashmir valley in India, the only difference is that along with stones, Uighur also use knives to kill innocent people.

Turkey and Egypt have extradition treaty with China, and a few Uighur terrorists had been deported to China, by these two Islamic nations. These Muslims states are aware of Pakistan support to Uighur. A large number of Pakistanis have entered into matrimonial alliance with Uighur Muslim girls. It is to be noted that China is regularly expelling Pakistani students for preaching hate speech, but these are not highlighted in western media.

Talibans, who recently captured  Afghanistan, do not support Uighur as they are afraid of losing logistic support of China.

China is witnessing surge of Tibetan style of Buddhism and a majority of Chinese have developed great liking for Buddhism and in near future, bloody sectarian conflict between Uighur and Chinese Buddhists are expected, as is being witnessed in Myanmar and SriLanka.

American and Western MNCs are involved in exploiting the Uighur Muslims and their sufferings may be attributed to greedy money launderers of US and western countries. Main problems with Uighur are that they won’t accept assimilation with Chinese society, this is also happening in France, UK, and Germany, which have surrendered to radicals and UK has become fertile ground for producing dangerous religious based terrorists. Several Islamic countries have openly accused UK of indirectly supporting and patronizing Wahhabi.

In bipolar world, it is time to realize that countries, big or small, strong or weak, poor or rich, are equals, and that world affairs should be handled through consultation by all countries The G7 leaders took China to task over human rights violations in the heavily Muslim region of Xinjiang, called for Hong Kong to keep a high degree of autonomy and underscored the importance of peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait - all highly sensitive issues for Beijing The re-emergence of China as a leading global power is considered to be one of the most significant geopolitical events of recent times, alongside the 1991 fall of the Soviet Union that ended the Cold War.

The G7, whose leaders met in southwestern England, has been searching for a coherent response to the growing assertiveness of President Xi Jinping after China's spectacular economic and military rise post pandemic. It is China which is progressing with 25%increase in exports, giving night marish sleep to political heads of western countries

Leaders of the group - the United States, Canada, Britain, Germany, Italy, France and Japan - used their gathering in the English seaside resort of Carbis Bay to show the world that the richest democracies can offer an alternative to China's growing clout. That is a false assumption as only US and Russia are in a position to contain China.

But how to browbeat China? No country suggested any worthy solution. Canada is afraid of ethnic Chinese population, which may attain majority, putting Canada’s sovereignty in jeopardy.

The G7 are planning to offer developing nations an infrastructure scheme, that could rival Xi's multi-trillion-dollar Belt and Road initiative. It is nothing but frustration of the so called rich and developed countries.

Biden, who arrived at the summit after three days of consulting with Group of Seven allies , called out, what it said were forced labor practices and other human rights violations impacting Uighur Muslims and other ethnic minorities in the western Xinjiang province. The president said he was satisfied with the communique, although differences remain among the allies about how forcefully to criticize Beijing.

Biden also used his eight-day trip to Europe to urge allies to work more closely in pressing Russian President Vladimir Putin over his government’s treatment of political dissidents and to do more to stem cyber-attacks originating from Russia, that have targeted private companies and governments around the globe. Perhaps Biden had Alex Navalny in mind. Navalny is a prominent money launderer and economic offender of Russia and has emerged as a main political rival of Putin. But Navalny is a weak political leader, idolized only by Germany and hated by most of Russians.

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization is an alliance of European countries, formed after World War II, as a bulwark against Russian aggression. The new Brussels communique states plainly that the NATO nations will engage China with a view to defending the security interests of the alliance. But as Biden faced with the G-7 communique, some allies bristled at the NATO effort to speak out on China.

NATO’s decision to name China as a threat shouldn’t be overstated because Beijing, like Russia, is also a partner in some areas. China is Germany’s top trading partner and Dorothy Angela Merkel is heavily dependent on Russia, in fulfilling the country’s energy requirement. It is important to find the right balance as China is also a partner on many issues.

It is very important, to make the offer of political discussions, political discourse, in order to come up with solutions. But where there are threats?, they are in the hybrid field too.  France’s President Emmanuel Macron urged the alliance not to let China, distract it from what he saw as more pressing issues facing NATO is facing pressing issues like  fighting against religion based terrorism. It is crystal clear the G-7 and NATO, deliberately slandered China and arbitrarily interfered in China’s internal affairs, and exposed the sinister intentions of a few countries.

Biden arrived at his first NATO summit as president, and as leading members declared it a pivotal moment for an alliance beleaguered during the presidency of Donald Trump, who questioned the relevance of the multilateral organization. Shortly after arriving at the alliance’s headquarters for the first NATO summit of his presidency, Biden sat down with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and underscored the U.S. commitment to various Articles  of the alliance charter, which spells out that an attack on one member is an attack on all and is to be met with a collective response.

Without elaborating, Joe Biden declared that America is there. It was a sharp shift in tone from the past four years, when Trump called the alliance, obsolete and complained that it allowed for global freeloading countries to spend less on military defense at the expense of the US. Biden was greeted by fellow leaders with warmth and even a bit of relief.

Trump routinely berated other NATO countries for not spending enough on defense and even threatened to pull the U.S. out of the world’s biggest security organization and  questioned the mutual defense provision of the NATO charter, a central tenet of the alliance.

The alliance also updated important Articles  of NATO, to offer greater clarity on how the alliance should react to major cyber-attacks — a matter of growing concern amid hacks targeting the U.S. government and businesses around the globe by Russia-based hackers.

Beyond extending the potential use of the Article, mutual defense clause to space, the leaders also broadened the definition of what might constitute such an attack in cyberspace, in a warning to any adversary that might use constant low-level attacks as a tactic.

The organization declared in 2014 that a cyber-attack could be met by a collective response by all 30-member countries. The president started his day meeting with leaders of the Baltic states on NATO’s eastern flank as well as separate meetings with leaders of Poland and Romania to discuss the threat posed by Russia and the recent air piracy in Belarus, according to the White House, NATO leaders  declared China, a constant security challenge and said the Chinese are working to undermine global order, a message in sync with President Joe Biden’s efforts to get allies to speak out with a more unified voice against China’s trade, military and human rights practices.

There is no doubt  that China’s goals and assertive behavior present systemic challenges to the rules-based international order and to areas relevant to alliance security. The warning to China comes as Biden has stepped up his effort to rally allies to speak in a more unified voice about China’s human rights record, its trade practices and its military’s increasingly assertive behavior that has unnerved U.S. allies in the Pacific.

FINAL THOUGHT. No nations benefited from the gathering. Except Coronavirus ,the world is not facing major political crisis.

HANGING JUDGE AS PRESIDENT OF IRAN(updated)

BY K P PASWAN

It happened long ago in Iran, in 1979/1980, when Raja Shah Pahlavi, the autocrat king, with progressive mind, succumbed to the pressure and uprising of religious fanatics and the Islamic Republic of Iran was borne. Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, who spend long period in Paris, returned to Iran to impose the decrees of an unproven GOD. He was an insulin diabetic patient.

In the bloody French revolution, Robespierre, a revolutionary, played an important role in inciting violence against the supporters of executed king and his family. Under his order hundreds of Frenchmen were executed, and when he failed in his mission to end the anarchy, he was captured and executed. Robespierre, known for his cruelty, was afraid of his death and tried to save his life by hiding in a room, but he had to meet his destiny. Ruhollah Khomeini was an exact replica of Robespierre.

Ayatollahs Rohilla Khomeini received the best treatment of Diabetic in France, but his God failed to save or cure him from the deadly disease, for which there was no potential drugs, which are available today. Credit goes to the late Shah of Iran, for not playing the villainous role of Robespierre, by executing Ayatollahs in France, who enjoyed the luxury of western life, which was not available to majority of Iranians.

After dethroning the king, it was the turn of neglected Ayatollahs and Mullahs, who formed some sort of Jacobin’s club, founded, during revolution in France, and started executing those people, who were loyal to the deposed King. Iranians believed that Ayatollah Khomeini was the Imam, who disappeared more the eight hundred years ago and has resurfaced to enlighten them. Along with Rohilla Khomeini, also emerged, Ayatollahs Ibrahim Raisi and one Ayatollahs Khalkhali, who became famous as Hanging Judges. One Aryana. who happened to be an ardent devotee of Ruhollah Khamenei, was executed by the order of Ayatollah Khalkhali, simply because Aryana was foreign minister of the deposed king of per-revolution Iran. In 1983 Ibrahim Raisi alone ordered the execution of more then 5000 innocent Iranians for which US, sanctioned him.

Iran is one of the richest countries of the world, it is also a Shiite majority nation, with rich cultural and political history. During the autocratic rule of the late king, there was much progress in education of men and women. King of Iran neglected the religious leaders, which ultimately led to his downfall. Ayatollah Ruhollah Khamenei, in a way, inherited an Iran, which was economically prosperous, and to some extent, free from the economic exploitation by Western countries.

All the Ayatollahs of Iran are  hated by educated Iranian, who are addicted to satellite phones, internet and modern system of communication. Being a Shiite nation, it has no Wahhabi or Salafi to export and  poison the world, so modern Iran is supporting small Sheikdoms predominated by Shias. Iran is also exporting  its own brand of terrorism, to neighboring countries, but especially to Palestine, who are Shias and opposed to the formation of Jewish state. It proposed a separate statehood for the Palestine, but the proposal has lost gravity among Muslims states, who are mostly Sunnis, and perhaps for this reason, Israel will not allow the formation of a Palestine state, which will be hated by Jordon, Iraq and small Emirates, whose very existence would be threatened by Iranian backed Hamas and Hezbollah.

After painful death of Ruhollah Khomeini, there followed the rule by Supreme Religious Leader Ayatollahs Ali Khamenei, who succeeded Ruhollah Khomeini. Supreme Leader is elected for life by a council of lunatics, numbering less than 100. These lunatics are religious preachers, opposed to western culture including freedom, given to women.

This is a unique feature of modern Iranian political system. Anyone aspiring to contest for the presidency must be cleared by a Guardian Council, another body of religious fanatics. A president is democratically elected, and he is certainly not a ceremonial head, but a puppet of Supreme Leader, who is ultimate authority in political and religious matters.

What is more surprising is that after death of  Ruholla Khomeini, his son and grand son, become reformists and were deprived of political power. But Iran is a politically conscious country without any rigid religious ideology like Wahhabi and Salafi, which are flourishing in Saudi Arabia. Iran elected two liberal and tolerant presidents Khatami and Rafsanjani, who tried to cultivate friendship  with the West, but US remained hostile to Iran and covered Saudi Arabia against imaginary Iranian invasion of oil rich Saudi kingdom.

Ahmadinejad was an Iranian president with waired political ideology. He was hell bent on destroying Israel and aspired to make Iran a nuclear power. But it is doubtful if Ahmadinejad ever talked of wiping off Israel from the face of the earth His hard-headed religious thinking failed to reduce the Iranian’s love for modern education. He underplayed Holocaust and funded the terrorists of Palestine, supported the Shiite revolution in Iraq, Houthi of Yemen and idolized the president of Syria who is a devout Shia of Alwite sect.

HOLOCAUST. The old Middle Eastern view that the Jews exaggerated the Holocaust to rationalize formation of Israel and subsequent brutalities against the Palestine, has long underlain the Islamic Republic’s hostility to Israel’s presence in the region. But it took Ibrahim Raisi openly describes holocaust as myth and  questioned the fitness of such countries like Germany, France and Austria, where holocaust denial is a crime, to lecture Iran on freedom of Speech.

Now Raisi is an elected president of Iran, but his influence and actions over strategic decisions, especially in foreign affairs and nuclear deal is constrained by the untrammeled power of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

BIDEN & RAISI. Strange it may sound, but there are reasons to believe that Biden and Raisi may reach some kind of political understanding. US has a long history of maintaining friendly relationship with autocrats and dictators of the world. The Democrats in US are generally anti-Semitic. An independent Palestinian state will be only hostile state, which Israel will have to deal with.  US is committed to defend Israel in case of attack by enemy, but that is not going to happen even in distant future. Israel would never concede to an independent Palestinian state, unless its sovereignty is guaranteed by Palestinians and that is not going to happen. Israeli PM, Naftali Bennett has already called Ibrahim Raisi, a butcher of Tehran.

US’s aim is to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear state, and that is going to materlise with conditions, favorable to the Shiite majority nation. Ibrahim Raisi is also successor of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and is in a position to know that Israel would destroy Iranian Nuclear reactors even without US help. In the early decade of this century, preemptive strike to knock out Iranian nuclear reactors was not possible

Recently, Israel attacked NANANTZ, an Iranian city, known for enriching Uranium and demonstrated that the Mossad, can cross one thousand kilometers to reach Iran, even without the help of US, and cause mayhem. Iran has good diplomatic relations with France and Germany, so Ibrahim Raisi, already sanctioned by US for human rights violations, may not face hostility while dealing with US.

HAMAS. It is difficult to create a united Palestinian state without the cooperation of Hamas, an organization, flourishing on drug trafficking, smuggling and above all funding by Iran. Most of the Palestinians are Shias by faith and there is no love lost between Sunnis and Shias. Palestinians are divided into two groups, one section faithful to a discredited Mahmud Abbas, who enjoys friendship of US, Egypt, and Jordon, while Hamas has the backing of only Iran. So besides funding terrorists’ organizations like Hezbollah and Hamas, Iran under Raisi may tilt more and more towards Syria and Iraq and Yemen. Iran is not in a position to lead the Islamic nations, consisting  mainly of Sunnis. Iran’s traditional rival Saudi Arabia is no more a sworn enemy of Israel and credit goes to former PM Netanyahu to bring more and more Sunni majority states closer to Israel.

There are sufficient reasons to believe that Ayatollah Khamenie is fed up with economic sanctions and is afraid of Israel's capacity to strike Iranian nuclear reactors.  With change in political landscape in Central Asia, a willy but certainly not mad Ayatollah Ali Khamenie has realized that Iran cannot lead the entire Islamic world. US wants safety of Israel, but unlike Donald Trump, Joe Biden is following the policy of appeasement to Saudi Arabia, and almost all the leading Islamic countries are helping Israel secretly as these Islamic states are reluctant to accept the supremacy of Shias in political affairs of Middle east. Ayatollah Ali Khamenie in his early 80s may find deal with Joe Biden, no so difficult to achieve.

An economically prosperous Iran is necessary to neutralize Saudi Arabia in economic  and military development. There is practically no manufacturing activities in Saudi Arabia and its economy is dependent on earning from oil. It is also seen that Iranian migrants in US and Canada are not terrorists, they are opposed to Saudi Arabia, known for glorifying Wahhabi, which has no place in Iran. Iranians women in US and Canada do not observe strict Islamic code of conduct, and Iranian women are progressive. Immigrants from Saudi Arabia and other Sunnis majority states are seen as potential terrorists by FBI and  they are not trusted.

Ibrahim Raisi  is trying to prove, that by heart he is anti US and anti Israel. But he also knows that with Russian and China's help, it would be suicidal for Iran to wage a war against  US or the Jewish state. Iran wants nuclear arsenal to frighten its traditional rival Saudi Arabia, and certainly not to cause mayhem in Central Asia.Iran has tested the fruits of economic prosperity and democracy. Most of the neighbors of Iran are Sunnis dominated states ruled by autocrats with limited freedoms to women and common people.

LAST THOUGHT.Iran is a great country, eager to modernize its society.Former presidents Khatami and Rafsanjani were reformists, eager to cultivate friendship with West, but failed as Saudi Arabia created strong firewall to prevent US from coming closer to IRAN. A nuclear deal with Iran does not risk isolation of Saudi Arabia and other Sunnis dominated countries, but instead may bring peace and tranquillity in  the middle east, that will be a big achievement in a bi polar international politics.
