CLIMATE CHANGE, THREATENING HUMAN RACE.

 We need pollution and pollutants for our survival. We cannot get energy and electricity without coal and petroleum products. Climate change is a different issue, which cannot be solved either by a vaccine or declaration like Tokyo Protocol or Paris Accord. The serious problems of climate change can only be tackled by an enlightened  global approach, which is not going to happen in near or even in distant future.  Every manufacturing units and even articles of daily use, whether big or small are responsible for emission of Carbon Dioxide, Methane gas and other ingredients responsible for hole in Ozone. These industries are necessary for survival, even if it means, inviting disease like Cancer and breathing trouble, for which there is no permanent cure. A teenager like Greta Thunberg is awakening human race for impending doom. But who cares?

Every country with an emerging economy. for which an open democracy is of paramount importance.  is always in conflict with others  for industrial development.  Political heads will go to any extent to achieve economic prosperity.  We have climate change, which is more lethal and more contagious than Covid virus. Climate change is not of recent origin, it begins with the dawn of civilization and will continue till our final moment. There is no escape route for climate change.

 ICE AGE IN THE PAST. There are conflicting opinions, whether industrial progress alone is contributing to climate change? Donald Trump, the former president of US was dead against Paris Accord, which lay down guidelines for maintaining increase in temperature between 1.5 to2 degree Celsius. Donald Trump was being advised by a group of scientists with conflicting views, like whether some unseen natural phenomenon was causing climate change or human race is spreading pollution beyond Stratosphere? It is virtually impossible to understand natural phenomenon, except quoting  Ice Age. Donald Trump believed in the past Ice age, responsible for climate change, and discarded Paris Accord.

 Honestly speaking Paris accord is discriminatory and if implemented in its present form, US will be singled out to ban use of coal, while EU and China in general, might be benefited. Donald Trump in a fit of rage, described Russia and India as filthy countries, while he spared China, which is next to US in polluting the atmosphere. In recent months US is facing the wrath of nature in the form of severe hurricanes, causing untold misery and even death.

 Considering that Ozone(normal) protects us from harmful effects of ultra violet rays, and depletion would increase in severe form of respiratory diseases. We are aware of Green House effect, thick layer of Carbon dioxide, methane, nitrogen etc. There is no need to mention the names of gases or substances, responsible for polluting the atmosphere. Everything which evolved and is evolving in this planet is poisoning the atmosphere. This is known as Second Law of Thermodynamics, meaning entropy or disorder in a closed system will continue to increase, Paris Accord may slow down this process, but cannot be completely stopped.

FOUR LAYERS. All over the world, school going children are being taught about five layers from ground level to 1000 kms above the earth. First layer called Troposphere followed by Stratosphere, Mesosphere. Thermosphere and the last one is called Exosphere, beyond which, pollution and pollution are mixed, there is nothing but cold space. If we are to survive than we have to keep areas up to 15 to 16^th kms above earth clean.  All these layers have played important roles, in  making this planet suitable for human beings, the planet is being inhabited by intelligence people, who questions about climate change, even after knowing that we are responsible for polluting the atmosphere. Attempts were made to address the issue by Tokyo protocol/declaration, but nothing happened till 2014, when Paris Agreements were signed and ratified by almost (Excluding Iran and Turkey) every country in the world.

QUALITY OF AIR. These days prominent TV channels are broadcasting temperature of different cities of the world, along with display of air quality which is horrifying. It is so because for combating rise in temperature, we have several methods, but for combating bad air quality, there are few options available, these options are being discussed by experts and politicians, but no effective actions have so far been taken for fear of bad impact on economy. James Carry the former Secretary of State under Obama, now as a envoy of Climate change, has few options  for him to consider and if implemented with full force, then China, Russia and India will have to be excluded from the group of nations causing maximum pollution.

By the end of this century. US is supposed to colonize the Red Planet and perhaps establishing human settlement in one of the satellites of Jupiter. But human settlement in outer space cannot solve the problems on the earth. Some of experts are trying to make us believe that rate of population growth all over the world was shrinking, they quote the example of Russia and Japan. This is surprising as scientific reasons for decrease in population have not been given, but we know that the earth is overburdened with population and will continue to sustain it, till the earth became polluted enough to cloud the human race with constant acid rain.

 PARIS AGREEMENT. Signed in 2016 12 Dec15, and ratified by 196 states, is supposed to minimise the climate catastrophe. Global mean temperature may rise by 3.2C by the end of this century. To limit global temperature, annual emission must be below 25 gigatons by 2030. With Paris commitments, emissions will be 56 Gt by 2030 which is nearing, and we see increase in emissions, culprits being five countries. Kyoto Protocol does not differentiate between developed and developing countries. Now as per Paris Agreement developing countries have to submit plans for emission reductions.

 After exit of Donald Trump, new president Joe Biden has joined the Paris agreement. We are eager to know the fate of this accord. Agreement on climate change which aims at maintaining increase in global temperature of less than or equal to 1.5 Degree and Green House Emission of gases must be carefully monitored and progress has to be reviewed every five years. Since Paris Agreement is mandatory, so every country whether developed or developing are required to follow the agreement sincerely. Here is the greatest obstacle. Recent assault by severe hurricanes and melting of Arctic are indications that Paris agreement is only of academic interest and countries like China, and almost all the oil producing countries are more interested in fighting political battle to remain in power, than preventing the impending doom. 

 As per Paris agreement, the four top emitters of greenhouse gasses, in decreasing order of annual emissions China, United States, EU27 and India, contributed over 55% of the world's total emissions over the last decade. Among these top four emitters, some have actually increased their annual emissions: China's emissions grew 1.6% in 2018 to reach a high of 13.7 Gt of CO2 equivalent. The U.S., which is responsible for 13% of global emissions, saw emissions rise by 2.5% in 2018. To meet the 1.5C target, by 2030 the U.S. would have to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by at least 57-63% below 2005 levels, according to a report by Climate Change, this can be achieved by closing coal-based industries in US, this is mischievous as such step will see China as an economic power beyond imagination. The European Union emits 8.5% of global emissions, and has seen its emissions decline 1% every year across the last decade. EU emissions declined 1.3% in 2018. India's 7% of global emissions grew 5.5% in 2018 but its emissions per capita is one of the lowest within the G2.

Coming once again to Paris agreement, it is almost impossible to maintain temperature at agreed level unless all the coal-based industries are closed. There is no alternative. Aerosol used extensively in breathing trouble is being replaced by more sophisticated and less pollutant breathing apparatus, but not completely free from toxic effect. Paris agreement needs rectification. The rectified agreement must be enforced within the ambit of UNO.  ICE AGE visited in the past, we are concerned with present and future. We are the final arbitrators and there must not be complacency.

EVALUATION. Human race is unlikely to survive the climate change without global enlightened approach. In next century, large spacecrafts, with men and women on board will roam in outer space in search of a better place to live in. This is a pessimist view, but neither supporters or opponents of Paris agreement can deny this.

VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN, A GLOBAL MENACE.(Up date)

Atrocities and violence against women are happening from time immemorial. But with spread of education and increased employment opportunity. coupled with growing consciousness have no effect on the precarious conditions of women. Even after advent of democratic ideas, we find women are being treated as slaves in many civilized societies of the world. In ancient times, we learned of several kings having hundred of wives and women slaves in the service of kings. In ancient time a king’s victories over other kingdoms, meant enslavement of entire women population. which had social sanctions of these practices. It appears women are borne to suffer and suffer till their last breath.

COSTLY DIVORCE. When the entire planet is facing the wrath of Coronavirus, there is practically no impact upon certain billionaires, who divorced their spouses without any reasons, not even domestic violence was quoted as ground for divorces. Divorce is being granted on the basis of mutual consent Some of the billionaires called press conferences along with their spouses to announce, the happy ending of their marriages, they were smiling as if they hit the jackpot. In fact, they hit the jackpot as the divorced wives received million of dollars as maintenance cost for agreeing to the proposal for divorces. The richest man on the earth paid billion of dollars to his divorced wife, who later on, happily married a poorly paid teacher. All these billionaires are old and on the verge of entering graves.  It appears that the mourners must include young girls, who married these jokers for fun. A particular person from US who enjoyed the title of being the richest person of the world for almost a decade, was not always the richest person of the planet, His predecessor has a history of marriages and now in his early 80s. he does not remember the names of his former wives.

Women are also not legging behind. A popular American female actor married several times, her last marriage was held, when she was about 70, when she died, none of her former husbands attended her burial. Women are being subject to violence, through out the world. In Africa, we find men, marry several times irrespective of religion. A particular religion permits men to have four wives, but in Africa persons belonging to other religions also practice polygamy on grand scale.

GLOBAL MENACE. Peru, a Latin American country, appears to be heading the list of nations notorious for atrocities against women.  Every day there is loud protests, but of no avail. Recently, women in France took the street against the rising crimes  owing to domestic violence. France is a democratic country with liberal thinking. It is a strange coincidence that in educated society, domestic violence and heinous crimes like rape and even murder of women is increasing. Every country in this world profess equality and introduce laws to punish the perverts of crimes against women, but the trend is not seeing declining.

In Asian countries, honor killing is not uncommon. In fact, in India and in Pakistan, honor killing and rape are very common, in most of the cases, accused are freed by judiciary citing reasons, which even an educated person cannot understand. Benefit of doubt always goes in favor of rapists and murderers.

CASE OF O J  SIMPSON. When we write violence against women, then we also examine the role of judiciary in dealing with such type of cases.US was held captive by trial of OJ Simpson for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman in 1995.. Both were stabbed to death outside of their residence in !994. Simpson was soon arrested after the crime and pleaded "No Guilty". The Prosecutor produced strong evidences and emphasized Simpson’s violent relationship with his ex-wife. 

The murder prompted debate about judicial system, and the media, many commentators suggested that media all over the world had got its priorities wrong, by turning the trial of black ex footballer star turned film actor into a Hollywood mega production. There were sufficient evidences to prosecute OJ Simpson, but black American denounced the trial based on racial discrimination, while entire white communities considered OJ Thompson guilty. Continuous television coverage throughout the world considered as serious abuses of power seen only in India besides America.

 The defense taking advantage of wider sympathy for the accused prepared strong ground for the prosecution of the investigation officer, who was accused of planting false evidences. Blacks dominated the Jury and within two hours of deliberations, OJ Simpson was declared not guilty. It means no body murdered Miss Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman. The fate of the case was known with the empaneled of Jury. In this trial, Black jury were inclined to  credit the absurd  unsupported by any credible evidence that the white investigation officer planted a bloody gloves to incriminate Simpson. The prosecutors expected that several Black women on OJ Simpson panel would respond with compassion, when they heard the frightful tapes of her emergence call to the police, when her husband was brutally beating her up. It seems more likely that husbands are wont to behave like that. 

There was ridiculous invention, that Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman were murdered by Colombian drug dealers. While rumors were set afloat with sufficient evidences that that OJ Simpson and his friend Kato Kaelyn, bought drugs earlier that evening in the car park of  a hamburger restaurant and that OJ was high on drug, which would explain the ferocity of the killing ( Nicole’s head was virtually severed from her body) But these evidences were never put up before the court.

 This incident proves that when atrocity is committed against a helpless women by her wealthy husband or influential persons, than the victim will never get the justice. After acquittal OJ Simpson's career was ruined and these days, he is rarely remembered.

 Next pathetic story happened in India, where women are considered as goddess, but in real practices a large number of highly educated and illiterate women are subjected to torture  rape,and murder and in majority of cases, murderer are let off by judiciary, as the Defence cook story more believable than hard evidences collected by police. In a widely publicized case, parents, their teenager daughter and an aged servant were fast sleep in their house. In the next morning the teenager and the servant were found,  brutally murdered. Police found, no outsider could have entered the house, needle of suspicion was pointing to the dentist parents, who were put on trial after much drama and also outcry by media. The case was entrusted to the premier investigation agency of the country, which after one year filled a closure report, expressing helplessness in finding the truth. The trial court refused to close the case and started the hearing on the basis of available evidences.

 Prominent criminal lawyers of national fame defended the parents. The parents were found guilty and was awarded life imprisonment. As usual the case was heard in high court, where once again famous  lawyers played their games. The parents were given the benefit of doubt, which means no body killed the teenager and the poor servant. We find violence against women involves a fixed pattern all over the world. Only in UK, defense, in murder cases find themselves at the receiving end. Death punishment has been abolished in Britain but the killer cannot escape harsh punishment, if the case is presented by the prosecution with clinching evidences. While economic offenders have hundred of excuses to evade the punishment, a killer is always is suspected unless, lack of evidences, whether circumstantial or real disturbs the judicial system. In a way British legal system is more rational than legal system of other countries.

NIRBHAYA MURDER CASE. In another instance in India, an innocent girl was rapped and brutally murdered, nearly seven years ago in the national capital of India. There was huge outcry through out the country. All the accused in this case were employees of a public bus. All the  accused except were awarded capital punishment. Now it was the turn of human right activists who demanded abolition of capital punishment.

 In the days of capital punishment, few lived to tell the crimes committed by him/them. In this instance, which happened in New Delhi, one man was saved from gallows, not because he was innocent, but because he was not an adult, at the time of ghastly murder He also showed maximum brutalities. He is still alive and somewhere leaving under the radar of watchful eyes.  It was a baffling murder and a almost unexampled in the annals in crime.  

Human right activities expressed profound grief and sympathy for the murdered girl, but these activities had more sympathy for the accused. The lone fighter, the mother of the murdered girl must be praised for her stamina. She stood against the bizarre arguments of human rightists, Moreover, Their Lordships, in this case were also bound by Review petitions, Curitic petitions and repeated attempts by the defense lawyers to seek mercy from different constitutional authorities. Cancellation of death warrants was followed by Date after date for next hearing. Final verdict was greeted by general public with enjoyment, But the verdict had little effect upon other criminals in the southern parts of the country. A woman was rapped and murdered by a group of criminals, who were employees of a pick up van. Again, there was nationwide out cry. The culprits were apprehended and while trying to escape, the criminals were killed in police encounter. The killing of criminals was celebrated with enjoyment. As usual human right activists raised their head against police encounter.

RESPONSIBILITY OF WOMEN. In India, rape of women followed by murder is like Gun Culture, being prevailing in US. There are certain sections of women and a few organizations, which consider themselves as champions of women rights. One Judge of High Court in India described the entire police force as the most well organized gangs of criminals. Women are being advised to avoid visiting certain public parks after 6 P.M, but such preventive measures are hated by women, forgetting that even males try to evade these parks visiting in the evening, for fear of being waylaid and killed by ruffians and drug addicts.

FINAL THOUGHT is nothing but extreme pessimism. Violence against women and brutal murder is seen everywhere in the world. There is no permanent solution in sight. One small way to mitigate the sufferings is to provide maximum employment opportunities to women. Overambitious women are mostly victims of murder and rape. In absence of strong political will, violence against women will continue to be a global menace.

MIRROR CRACKED, DEATH OF A BRIDE.(True Story) updated

 THE GRAND FINALE, MIRROR CRACKED.

The French President awoke and heard that French Jumbo Jet with nearly 200 hundred passengers on board, crashed into the Atlantic in a stormy weather. He dialed certain numbers and became sick. It was the saddest air disaster in human history. A newly wed Indian bride, with lot of post wedding materials purchased in US, was traveling with her parents in the same plane.  Every possible investigation was made, after spending a lot of money, by her husband's family, to know, if possible, the last hour of her life. The answer came easily, by a telephonic conversation of the dead girl, with her brother and husband, the conversation was recorded by sheer chance, as the ultramodern mobiles were in the possession of her brother and husband. 

REVELATIONS.

 As per conversation, she was telling her brother, "I have a small mirror in my hand and after finishing you, I am going to talk to my, in laws and inform them that I, am going to Paris, since he is in France." After talking to her in laws, she dialed her husband and was telling him,  "I have purchased many extraordinary things for you, be present at airport" 

But the conversation never completed. The giant airplane crashed into the Atlantic, the Mirror Cracked and the charming girl touched her destiny. She was married for only five months and was just 22 years old. This apocalyptic end and Armageddon were aired throughout the world.

SHADOW OF ATLANTIC. (One year later) It was exactly the same date, on which the plane crashed. Three sturdy SUV, and four cars were, wheeling in the shadow of the fierce Atlantic, towards a particular location. The occupants of the three SUV and cars were family members of the Dalit officer, his friends and the girl’s relatives, and were escorted by two Armed men. There was also a world-famous Nobel Laureate in physics from US, in the last SUV, the reasons of his presence are beyond the scope of this true story. After two hours of journey, the SUV finally reached the destination. A learned south Indian Brahmin accompanied us. In a less crowded place, Hindu system of ritual was performed. There were other mourners, a Christian Father was conducting special services for others at a particular location.  We made our arrangements with the help of tourist agency and the embassy staffs.

 After last rites were performed, the Brahmin priest put rice and flowers in a bucket, made of paper and asked all of us to touch the bucket, we followed his advice.

   Than Nobel Laureate, told the priest to recite verses from an Upanishads "O NIYNTA, we offer you, our sufferings, happiness, and desires, accept our offerings and free the girl from the cycle of death and birth". Then we threw the bucket into the Atlantic, the Dalit officer requested his family members to spare few minutes for him. The elder brother of the boy, instructed, all the persons, present at the place, never lose the boy, out of your sight.  Gunmen started patting their pants with service revolver violently and others occupied places, at a distance of five meters, and surrounded me.

 DENSE FOG.I saw the terrific roar of the Atlantic. I was frightened. I closed my eyes, and as if in a dream, I saw  dense fog, emerging from the roaring ocean and after few seconds, in wedding attire, emerged a girl, looking at me, the bride addressed me, "I cannot see you frightened". I told her, I am frightened as you are not with me, I am frightened, because, I will never be able to meet your twin brother, I am frightened of myself, no other girl would replace you, so you promise, to not leave me, and I started weeping. I heard, the bride was telling, ‘I cannot tolerate your weeping, I make promise, to never leave you.' I will love you and continue to love till final conflict and the bride disappeared’.

 I opened my eyes and found tears rolling down my cheeks, I shouted, don’t go and help me, my friends ran towards me, and one of them embraced tightly and told me, nothing was over. Embracing me tightly, he started weeping. The Christian priest from nearby place, came running and started conducting prayer, But the Nobel Laureate told the gathering, let them weep, it will ease their tension We started walking towards SUV. While sitting in the SUV, I once again, and last time, saw the roaring ocean. A uniformed man from the tourist agency approached us with great speed, and handed a special condolence message by the PM of France.

 Bride's LIVING ROOM. I received an envelope from the courier, and entered a living room, I knew the content of the letter.  I sat in a chair and had a look at four sides of the room.  A black and white photo of the crown prince of Japan, was decorating the wall of one side. The former Emperor, as a young prince, visited Bodhgaya, and my grandfather took a photo from old camera. The Emperor recently abdicated in favor of his son, in another wall, the photographs of my parent and grandparents, were hanging. These photos were lying in the drawing room, but brought in this room after the death of the bride.

 I then turned my head to a large, color photograph of a smiling bride. I opened the letter and found a slip of one sentence ‘This day------ was a day of wedding of my sister with you’. From Manish Raj Singh.M.R.C.P. The letter was written before the death of the doctor. There was also an e mail from a Nobel Laureate "Son I share your agony “This room was filled with pre and post wedding materials of the dead bride.There were not less than six large Albums of color photographs. At the time of marriage, I instructed my batch mates (Total 18 in numbers) not to bring gifts, but they defied and attended the ceremony with lavish and precious gifts These gifts are neatly placed in this room. Expensive cloths and gifts are kept properly. In this very room, I spent nearly three and half months along with the bride. Those moments are  everlasting .

VISITING PAST. Now, it is time to visit my past to know this tragic story. I belong to North India. I was doing course of management in a famous Management School, situated at a distance of nine hundred kms from my home city. I belong to an economically well off, but not a rich Dalit family. My brother rented, a self-contained one room flat for me in a colony, which was inhabited by educated and rich.I did not opt for staying in hostel, which was under renovation.

 In the colony, there was an educated and very rich Thakur family His house was at a distance of nearly half kilometer from my flat. He was managing director of a reputed Pharma Company and lived in a sprawling house with his wife and children.

 One day I was passing through that house to reach the bus stand, when I saw a tall and beautiful girl, mercilessly beating a boy of her age with a club, there was also a handsome boy, who was inciting the girl to beat hard. In the evening I narrated the incident to my landlord, who informed, that the girl and boy were twin son and daughter of the Chairman, the boy was studying in a famous military college for medicine and the girl was doing her graduation in a local college, I was informed that the twins had their primary education in London, that the girl had beaten so many boys in the past. I was warned by the landlord, to not pass through that way, while going to board the bus. Needless to say, I changed the route to the bus stand, but unpredictable features started playing a different type of games.

 One evening, when I was returning to my flat, I saw huge gathering before the Thakur's house.  I came to know, that there was a serious accident, the twins and their mother and twin's elder sister were likely to die, as they needed a rare type of blood, which was not available, and would be coming next day from another city. I ran towards the house, and presented myself to Chairman and told him, Sir. I, have that type of blood, but I am a DALIT. He yelled and called doctors, I donated my blood and three precious lives were saved.

For me it was a period of vacation and was preparing for going to my home, the chairman called me and offered money, I lost my anger and politely told him. that I was not a professional blood donor, and I do not need money and any type of help, and in the same evening left for my home.

I returned after one month to find that peace and tranquillity prevailed in the colony. It was Saturday afternoon. I had covered nearly 1000 kms journey by train and was tired. My landlord, faithfully informed the Chairman sir of my arrival. After one hour, driver of the Chairman's family arrived and requested me to meet the Chairman, I told him that I would meet him tomorrow at 10 am, as I am tired. .

 Next day before meeting the Thakur, I sought safety of my life. They were astonished. The elder daughter asked reasons for seeking safety of my life. I was honest in saying that I was afraid of Cast Hindu. She advised me to shed inferiority complex, she gave me her telephone number and informed me, that her injury in the accident was more severe and she was saved due to blood transfusion in time.I noticed that the twins were missing.

After two hours, I was in my room. I concluded that I was not safe in this locality. I contacted my Dean and requested for a room in another Govt hostel. His assurances emboldened me, and within one week, I left this colony silently and secretly.

It was a pleasant evening, when I received a call from a friend, who congratulated me for securing 42nd position in the examination, while he himself secured 10th position. I immediately rang my elder brother, who is in State Civil Service. He congratulated me, on my success and then informed that he, in consultation with  other members of the family, fixed my marriage with the girl belonging to the Thakur family and put the receiver, without giving me time to speak.

 DEATH OF Dr MANNISH. I was in Texas in US, when I received urgent message from the Chairman of a  private hospital in India, that a Dr Manish M.R.C.P was hospitalized, was in danger, and he is asking for my presence. The doctor was the twin brother of the dead bride. I was going to face dead girl's twin brother after eight years. I had difficulty in reaching the destination due to strict Covid restrictions. With the help of local officers, I was guided to a private ward of a  hospital, in which a man on death bed was waiting for me. 

The man on the death bed, never reconciled to the tragic death of his twin sister and my agony. After tragic event, the man received specialized treatment in London, where he was doing M.R.C.P. I again donated my blood to save his life, the famous neurologist of Britain (Now with Sir) warned me, not to meet the patient for the rest of life, as sudden meeting might be fatal to him. The doctor never married. I also left the service and joined financial institution in US, so I was surprised that my Thakur relative wanted to meet me. A severe heart attack, put him on life saving support, and a doctor of international repute, tried his best to save the man from going into circular coma, and he succeeded to some extent, until I arrived, the doctor recognized me, smiled and tried to touch my hand. He died after midnight.

 In the electric crematorium I along with a large number of relatives of the doctor, performed the last rites. I had alerted my former colleagues. A few of them were present there to see the most tragic event. One of my well-wishers, Mr Sharma came from New Delhi and forced his way to crematorium. Then I saw three uniformed young police officials, all in masks, making query of the late doctor. They were undergoing training for I.P.S and assisted me in performing religious rituals

 As per last wishes of the doctor, a brass pot, filled with his mortal remains, was handed over to me. In the next anniversary of the plane crash, I have to immerse the mortal remains in the Atlantic, exactly at the same place, where the plane downed. Tourists agencies are operating middle-sized vessels and large cruises covering, the Atlantic and the Pacific. There is no mystery about the so-called Bermuda triangle, mystery if any is related to climate catastrophe.

 PRESENT DAY. While I was sitting in the bride’s room. A car stopped outside of the house, within ten minutes, I heard heavy footsteps, a young man of 23 years in uniform with I.P.S badge jumped nearly half ft above the ground and saluted me, he was accompanied by his mother, who was my elder sister in law. She stood in front of the photograph of the girl. She told the uniformed officer “I picked this girl for your uncle, she was of my choice, but she is no more, her twin brother is also dead and now your uncle is alone in this world’. She addressed the girl in the photo frame 'You are going to be proud mother in law of this boy in a few years, hearing this, my nephew shouted,  It will be a simple marriage, since in absence of aunt, I won’t prefer grand marriage, and my uncle is not alone. My sister in law started weeping. When the girl died, my sister in law, who is like mother to me, kept on crying and was hospitalized. 

 Now our family is scattered all over India, in search of better employment. They were all borne and brought up in this large house. This house is named after the girl.

ETERNAL LOVE. The Doctor’s elder sister has a son, Lieutenant in the army, when he was going to marry, we were invited, I was away and sent congratulatory message, she became very angry, and after three months of marriage, she along with her Lieutenant son and his newly wed bride came to my house (She informed us in advance) and demanded an explanation for not attending the wedding. She told family members “you think that you people are outcasts, but we think you are members of our extended family. She has a PhD from Edinburgh and now Head of the department of psychology. She makes it a point to visit my house once or twice in a year. She along with other ladies of my family assemble in the girl’s room and weep for long time. It appears, she is also living for her dead brother,sister and for me.                           

 This is the love and obsession for brother, sister and their Dalit relative. It was an undefined game, in which everybody lost, the twin lost their lives and I lost both of them. In fact, I lost everything.                                       

Several times I along with my friends, crossed though the Atlantic in large Cruise and sometimes in ordinary vessels and actually saw the place, where the French Airplane crashed into the ocean, there was no fog, and the girl did appear in my dream. She talked of  FINAL CONFLICT. What a tragedy? there shall be nobody to write something about the final conflict. But then who knows?

In this very room, my all the brothers (Two technocrats and one Civil Servant) assembled and told me, “Junior, your bride is not resting at the bottom of the Atlantic, she is resting in ours heart".

A girl like Mrs Manisha Raj Singh Rawal does not die,endures forever.

Envoyspeak. PANDEMIC OF UNVACCINATED PEOPLE.

It appears that in near future human race on this unfortunate planet is not going to witness real pleasure in their lives. It is because the country, which first reported outbreak of Coronavirus is a leading economic power and and is openly challenging the powerful US.  Leading Virologist Antony Faucy and  Dr Peter Dazsk,  of US, were advocating complete lock down to contain the Delta plus variant of Coronavirus in countries, where there is no sign of marked improvement. Now they have changed their tones and are advocating restrictions, which unfortunately are also not proving beneficial. New variant of Coronavirus known as Delta plus is highly contagious and strike unvaccinated people with lightning speed, forcing hospitalization and in death.

HIV AND ANTHONY FAUCCI AND CORONAVIRUS.

 There is an intimate relation between HIV and Coronavirus as the man who promised effective treatment for HIV is now a leading authority on Coronavirus .Anthony Fauci, the leading Virologist and advisor to the president of US  did not emerge all of sudden.He emerged when HIV threatened US and several eminent persons died of HIV Death of eminent persons coincided with emergence of Fauci. Let us have a glimpse of persons who succumbed to HIV.

ROCK HUDSON, was the name of a famous Hollywood star, who died of HIV in the decade of 1980. With the death of Rock Hudson, there emerged a young doctor, who promised treatment, including a vaccine for HIV. That young doctor in US is still alive and is known all over the world as Antony Fauci.  It is possible that before Rock Hudson, many people might have died of HIV, but Rock Hudson’s death was aired throughout the world. HIV was the most talked subject among the doctors, as this disease frightened the entire population of the earth, pharma giants started doing research as a way to find a cure. But soon the doctors realized that HIV was not caused by virus, so manufacturing a vaccine is not going to end this disease, and they were right, as even after a gap of more than sixty years, there is no permanent cure available for HIV. We do not know the exact number of causalities due to this illness. but a large number of imminent persons succumbed to this dreaded disease. Arthur Ash was an ace badminton player of US, he received blood transfusion from a HIV person and  died.

Meanwhile Vatican announced to the world that HIV was sent by GOD to punish the offenders. But Faucy is a brilliant scientist and soon joined the group of scientists, advising the president of US on the medical issues. The HIV was playing havoc with the lives of certain groups of people and the origin of the disease was discussed in detail and poor monkeys of Democratic Republic of Congo were held responsible for transmitting HIV to human beings. Whole of Africa was infected with HIV and even today maximum number of HIV patients are found in Africa.

With certain guidelines and by using antiviral drugs, managing the infected HIV patients is possible. In US, it is presumed that a large number of Blacks and Hispanics are suffering from HIV. Scientists succeeded in prolonging the life of a HIV patient without improving the quality of life. The disease is rampant in some African countries. In the course of time majority of HIV patients died and few survivals, suffered from bipolar disorder

 Antony Fauci is certainly not a very famous doctor of infectious disease, but he knows, how to manage bad times by turning the table in the right direction. This strategy has worked in his favor as is evident, by his presence in the White House since 1980, it does not matter for Fauci, whether the owner of the Oval Office is A Democrat or Republican.  Expensive Antiviral drugs are available for the unfortunate HIV patients and they enjoy certain rights in democratic countries which are not available in other nations, Meanwhile Vatican has refused to accept new reality and continued to regard HIV being sent by God to punish the transgenders.

 Fauccy kept low profile, busy in doing research, either beneficial or not beneficial to human being.  Nothing was known about Fauci before the outbreak of Coronavirus, but suddenly, he emerged with Coronavirus and declared three cardinal principles to defeat the Corona. (1)Wear Mask, (2)Maintain Social Distance and(3) Washing Hands frequently, surprisingly these principles are being followed all over the world.

  Faucci met his final match in Donald Trump, who in the beginning of outbreak of Coronavirus, treated it like another variant of Spanish flue, which ravaged US in 1918. It appears that Donald Trump was not aware of American funding of famous Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.  US, funded the famous Lab in China, which is being accused of manufacturing  coronavirus without the knowledge of Antony Fauci. This is known as Conspiracy theory which is yet to be proved.  Somehow Trump smelt the conspiracy and was soon, seen in action, he abused Faucci calling him as an incompetent, but refrain from firing him, as it is possible that China might have accused, US of funding the Wuhan Lab for which the Chinese Govt is claiming Nobel Prize for doing research relating to pandemic.

 Antony Faucci like many other Virologists were not much optimistic of vaccines within short times. So many common drugs like HCQ(Hydroxy Chloroquine), Azithromycin and a few others were given to patients and these patients recovered, forcing Donald Trump to declare HCQ as game changer. Fauci had his own opinion and when he asked for reasons, for not warning Donald Trump, he is reported to have told the CNN correspondent, ’You cannot expect me to jump before the microphone and push the president away”. But with departure of Donald Trump, Fauci expected reward from Joe Biden. The New president retained Faucy as the leading advisor as Fauccy was an opponent of Trump. Biden appointed Rochelle Walensky a leading medical expert as his advisor on Coronavirus, she now calls the shot.

Departure of Donald Trump was coincided with approval of mRNA-based vaccines by FDA. With more than 90% efficiency, Joe Biden did not require the advice of Faucy and relied upon groups of competent epidemiologists to contain the pandemic. After mass vaccination, educational institutions were ordered to be opened, Fauccy jumped and advised 2 ft social distances with mask covering face and nose of students. President overlooked the suggestions and declared no mask and no social distance, and schools were opened with dire consequences.

But new phase of Coronavirus pandemic has pitted the speed of Virus against the speed of human responses. The contest is the Delta plus variant vs vaccines and prevention, in races playing out over and over in communities across the planet. US offers a grim lesson for what happens when the race is not run, the most powerful political head of our solar system appears to be helpless while facing the new variant of the lethal virus.

It’s looking more and more likely, vaccines prevent most asymptomatic infections. Evidence has accumulated that vaccines protect against catching the coronavirus, whether or not a person once coronavirus needs a fresh host to reproduce. That’s why cases are spiking in patchwork patterns, across the globe throughout the pandemic. First a region flares up as the virus spreads through the community. Once there are no more vulnerable people — either because they have been already exposed or adequately protected by vaccination — the pathogen fizzles out.

 Each new phase of the coronavirus in Australia and Israel offer two different examples of the way’s countries are responding to the delta coronavirus variant. The variant, Delta plus is playing havoc in US, South Africa and in Australia, triggering a lock down in affected cities and mask mandates and increased restrictions in other cities that had, till now, are relevant. There’s been a level of complacency and we’ve been living in a very gilded cage. No political head on this earth had foreseen such a catastrophe. At the time of departure of Donald Trump, US witnessed causality figure about 275000 thousands, but after six months, America crossed the figure700000, but nobody is accusing Joe Biden of mishandling the pandemic.It is to be noted  that three effective vaccines along with wonderful monoclonal anti-body cocktail were manufactured in USA. Most of the Blacks and the illegal migrants are afraid of vaccination, because of vague fear. Blacks are also not coming forwards to get tested for Coronavirus. There is reduction of life expectancy of Blacks and Hispanics which run between 2to 3%.

 In Israel, the main defenses against delta plus, will be the country's vaccinated population, not government-mandated precautions, officials say. The government in Israel has offered booster shot to vulnerable people, who have been vaccinated, but are being reinfected by new variant. One of US's final restrictions, an indoor mask may mandate in a few places, where infection rate is alarming. Indoor masking was never favored, in places where positive rate is below5%. 

 In US, there's a wide gap in the vaccination rates of residents who are White and of those who are Black or Hispanics. Fifty four percent  of Americans are fully vaccinated. Still unvaccinated people, mostly Blacks and Hispanics are dying as they are reluctant to get jabbed. White people in the country have received at least one dose of a vaccine, close to the 52 %. Low vaccination rates are not unique in entire world. In UK, situation is somewhat different. After mass vaccination, it was believed that UK would soon become free from lethal virus, but suddenly there was surge as new variant known as Delta plus was detected. This new variant is highly transmissible and the hospitals in UK were swarmed with patients infected by new variant. But there was no stoppage of vaccination and in a dramatic twist, Delta variant has been controlled, making the idea of booster shot less important. US is keeping a close eye in the procedures adopted by Britain US may follows the British ways of handling the crisis. 

 Deaths from the coronavirus continue to raise despair and alarm, despite the slower-than-desired immunization. Australia, SA, UK and Israel offer two different examples of the way’s countries are responding to the delta coronavirus variant. The variant has emerged in every country of the world, fueling the opinion that Delta plus may be the last episode, before pandemic is hibernated or eliminated.It has been observed that Pfizer mRNA was 33% effective against symptomatic infection from the Delta variant after the first shot, in the two dose- series, but 88% effective after second shot After all, in clinical trials, the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines were neck and neck (95 percent and 94 percent efficacy, respectively) in terms of preventing symptomatic infection from covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. 

As far as J&J, it may provide about 72% protection. It has sought approval for a booster shot from FDA. Effectiveness of mRNA vaccines differ from country to country and in absence of uniformity in data, it is impossible to pin point the most effective vaccines in the world.

In India, there are two vaccines, Astra Zeneca and Covaxin have shown extraordinary effectiveness in containing the virus.Antony Faucci has expressed the apprehension that if another variant other then Delta variant is detected then existing vaccines have to be modified. Existing vaccines are effective but not perfect.

  Only way to tame all the variants of Coronavirus, is to make the lives hell of the unvaccinated people. French president is following this principle. EU is bound to follow the same. After all it is a race against time. Unvaccinated people must not be allowed to pose danger to human race.

Omicron is the new variant, which was detected first in South Africa and with lightening speed became dominant strain in US,UK, France, Germany and other European countries. Mercifully Omicron is less lethal than Delta Plus and it has been contained in its birth place that is South Africa.
